Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Members to show up in force at the 9th Annual Shakedown at E’Town Oct 7th though Oct. 9th at world famous Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.
10-04-2011 Huntington, NY – The 9th Annual Shakedown at E’Town is upon us once again. In 2010 we witnessed NEOPMA member Larry Plummer in the Pullen Motorsports 68’ Firebird runner up in the Blown/Turbo class. There were 5.90’s passes from members like Pete Farber, Tim O’Hare, and Fredy Scriba. The field was fast, but 2011 is shaping up to be even faster with members capable of potential 5.80’s passes on a track with historic performances and October weather that creates conditions for maximum horsepower and performance. For the NEOPMA teams this race will be a point’s race, so with a tight point’s battle, expect to see teams throw everything they got at the track.
This year in Pro Mod Blown Class, expect to see members Jim Barker, Jim Bersani, Brian Bures, Gerry Capano, Steve Drummond, Pete Farber, Tommy Gray, Dave Hance, Steve King, Eric Latino, Fifi Montround, Tim O’Hare, Andrew Parise, Dina Parise, Pullen/Plummer Team, Carl Stevens, Derrick Townes, Alex Viscardi, Dwayne Wolfe take of the gloves along with the best quarter mile racers in the country and battle for the $10,000.00 winner’s prize.
In the Speedtech Pro Mod Nitrous Class see members Steve Assenmacher, Vinnie Budano, Gary Courtier, Matt Deitsch, Vinnie DeMieri, Joe Dunne, Andrew Handras, Montana/Thomasina Team, Harry Pappas, Fredy Scriba, George Williams, Isaiah Rojas, and Todd Fontana along with the best quarter mile racers in the country battle for the $10,000.00 winner’s prize.
Also there will be many other great classes to satisfy your drag racing thirst Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday. Other classes include ….Outlaw 10.5, Heavy Street, Outlaw Drag Radial, X275, 8.50 Index, and Pro Street Bike. Plenty of action and variety to satisfy anyone’s drag racing fever.
